Based in Oslo, Norway, and drawing on influences that range from Black Metal to Sludge to Shoegaze, Feversea’s music lies at the intersection where the ferocity of black metal meets with ritualistic and ethereal soundscapes.

Starting out as a post punk project, FEVERSEA underwent a significant change in musical direction that culminated in the release of the well-received 2023 demo that highlighted the band’s atmospheric and varied post-metal direction.

For the past year FEVERSEA have been busy spent recording and producing their debut album, in which the band explores themes centred around the beginning and end of man, as well as mankind’s diminished position in the world. And it is this album that Dark Essence Records will be releasing.
